A little bit of fun first.
There are many interesting things to know about worms. The slow worm for instance is actually a lizard. There is a species called the peanut worm. Haha not that interesting really but they could be classed as being better than single player of worms: open warfare. Every one knows how worms works. If you don’t you need to be hard-boiled. You get a team of four pink little creatures named by man as ‘Worms’ obviously, and attempt to destroy the rival team of worms, controlled by the computer or a friend, by using a large amount of odd weapons including a sheep. (I don’t think the game stands a chance here in Wales). The psp version of worms is back to the glory days of ye oldie 2D animation. None of that 3D rubbish. But at least 3D worms had something that resembled a single player mode. Here you only get to play matches against the computer over and over. May be challenge mode will provide some single player entertainment! Nope didn’t think so. This simply puts you in yet more four on four battles. But the more you win the better your opponents become and they can take more of a beating.
Still in multiplier mode, worms is as good as ever. Watching in anguish as your entire worm battalion is wipe out by your best mate with an air strike. Or better, kill of there team with a precision aimed sheep. Woolly jumpers for Christmas! But if you plan on buying this game for the single player mode, you are better off being circumcised.
I give this a pitiful 4/5 single player
7/5 multiplier
This is not my best review as it is not the best game |
