In this tutorial I will be creating a double coloured rippled background for the PSP.
1. Open up Photoshop and make a new picture (480x272)
2. Make a new layer and fill the background with black.
3. Go to filters>render>clouds and choose this option.
4. Go to filters>render>difference clouds and choose this option. After doing this press CTRL+F until you get it looking how you want.
5. Now selct half of the picture using the Rectangular Marquee Tool. When you have done this press CTRL+U.
6. In this screen the will be an a tick box that says colorise, choose this and play around with the settings in this screen until you get a colour you like.
7. Exit the current screen so you are back on the main picture page. Press CTRL+D to de-select the selected area.
8. Go to filters>distort>zig-zag. Now set the settings to the following:
Amount: 47% Ridges: 5.
9. Now you will have something that looks like the following:
I hope you like the finished product this is a perfect PSP background. I will be bringing out more tutorials soon.
